Terms & Conditions - NAPIT Training Bookings & Cancellations

GENERAL

Please note that your place on a course is not confirmed until a booking confirmation is issued by NAPIT Training, please contact us if this is not received by email within 24 hours of booking your course online or by phone. 

If you have to amend or cancel your course booking, we will always endeavour to be as fair and reasonable as possible, however, as our courses are sometimes fully booked months in advance and with candidates sometimes having to wait for availability, we ask you to appreciate our strict course amendment and cancellation policy stated below.

PAYMENT

All NAPIT Training courses can be paid using one of the following payment methods, 

Debit/Credit Card payment – Accepted via the NAPIT Training Website or by calling us on 0345 543 0330 (option 1). Payments made by card must be received in full at the time of booking. NAPIT can accept MasterCard, Maestro, JCB and Visa including Visa debit.

Direct Debit payment plan (NAPIT members only) – Only available by calling NAPIT on 0345 543 0330 (option 1). All Direct Debit payment plans must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the required course date.

BACS payments – NAPIT’s bank account details are available upon request by calling us on 0345 543 0330 (option 1). 

Please note if payment is not received in full as per the above, we will cancel your NAPIT Training course booking, and additional charges may apply.

COURSE AMENDMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

NAPIT Training Cancellations:  Where mitigating circumstances dictate, NAPIT Training Ltd (hereinafter referred to as NAPIT) reserves the right to amend or cancel any scheduled course without giving prior notice, but will endeavour to inform delegates within 10 days prior to course commencement. Under these circumstances, affected delegates and businesses are eligible for a full refund of all course fees paid to date relating to the cancelled course only, or alternatively a transfer to a later course date will be offered dependent upon place availability. NAPIT’s liability regarding remuneration for amended or cancelled course bookings is limited to course fees paid to date, and exclude any additional claims for losses or cost incurred by any affected delegates, employer or businesses.    

Delegate Cancellations:  To discuss or request the cancellation of a NAPIT Training course, please email cancellations@napit.org.uk or call us on 0345 543 0330 (option 1), all cancellation requests must be made by an authorised person. The authorised person must be either the owner, director, and/or the registered person of the contact on the NAPIT Training booking or related NAPIT membership, and in some certain circumstance the delegate named on the training booking may also have authority to request cancellation.

COURSE AMENDMENT

All course/exam booking amendments excluding those in relation to the C&G2394-01, C&G2395-01 and C&G2396-01 are subject to the following charges;

a) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 30 days or more prior to the course/exam start date, then no administration fee will be charged.

b) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 14 - 29 days prior to the course/exam start date, then an administration fee of £75.00 + VAT will be charged per course/exam place.

c) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 7 - 13 days prior to the course/exam start date, then an amendment fee totalling 50% of the original course/exam cost will be charged per course/exam place.

d) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 0 - 6 days prior to the course/exam start date, then an amendment fee totalling 100% of the original course/exam cost will be charged per course/exam place.

 

All course/exam booking amendments in relation to the C&G2394-01, C&G2395-01 and C&G2396-01 only are subject to the following charges;

a) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 42 days or more prior to the course/exam start date, then no administration fee will be charged.

b) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 14 - 41 days prior to the course/exam start date, then an administration fee of £75.00 + VAT will be charged per course/exam place.

c) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 7 - 13 days prior to the course/exam start date, then an amendment fee totalling 50% of the original course/exam cost will be charged per course/exam place.

d) If a course/exam booking is amended due to a requested change of date, location, and/or delegate(s) 0 - 6 days prior to the course/exam start date, then an amendment fee totalling 100% of the original course/exam cost will be charged per course/exam place.

COURSE CANCELLATIONS

All course/exam booking cancellations are subject to the following charges;

a) If a course/exam booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the course/exam start date, then an administration fee of £75.00 + VAT will be charged per course/exam place.

b) If a course/exam booking is cancelled 7 - 13 days prior to the course/exam start date, then a cancellation fee totalling 50% of the original course/exam cost will be charged per course/exam place.

c) If a course/exam booking is unattended or cancelled 0 - 6 days prior to the course/exam start date, then a cancellation fee totalling 100% of the original course/exam cost will be charged per course/exam place.

Any refund requests must be made in writing and sent to cancellations@napit.org.uk by an authorised person as detailed above. All refunds issued will be processed in accordance with the above cancellation charges, and can take up to 20 working days to be processed from receipt of the written request. Please note any discounts and/or free training granted to you by NAPIT are non-refundable and non-transferable.

THEORY & PRACTICAL RESITS AND EXAM ONLY BOOKINGS

Should you wish to place an exam only booking the following charges will apply:

a) Exam Only Bookings (excluding PAT Course) - £90.00 + VAT per place per exam

b) Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Exam Only Bookings (Includes both Theory & Practical) - £120.00 + VAT per place per exam

 

Should you need to resit a theory and/or practical exam the following charges will apply:

a) Theory or Practical resits within 6 months from completion of the original course - £90.00 + VAT per place per exam

b) Theory or Practical resits over 6 months from completion of the original course - 100% of the original course cost will be charged per place as a resit of the full course will be required

JERSEY TRAINING CUSTOMERS

Customers from Jersey taking their initial/renewal Certificate of Competence assessment at one of our mainland centres should be aware that due to third party booking terms and conditions, and additional costs incurred by NAPIT for associated flights from Jersey, and mainland hotel accommodation, no course discounts or refunds will be available.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

NAPIT reserves the right to refuse training to any delegate(s) that knowingly breach any provision under the Health & Safety Act or fails to comply with any relevant and stipulated requirements, e.g. suitable clothing and equipment. The same applies to any delegate(s) who conduct themselves inappropriately with any offensive, disruptive or illegal activity. Under all such circumstances, delegates will be asked to leave the course with no refund being paid by NAPIT Training. 

NAPIT will not be held responsible for: 

ANY loss or damage to personal belongings 

ANY expenses incurred by delegates attending courses

ANY damages incurred to your computer system whilst using our website

 

All prices are correct at time of issue and NAPIT reserve the right to change them at our discretion.
