NAPIT have launched a new asbestos awareness course, designed to educate at-risk installers on the hazards associated with coming in to contact with this potentially deadly material.

Following a landmark agreement with worldwide insulation specialists, Knauf Insulation, NAPIT members are now able to access both internal and external solid wall insulation courses at a heavily discounted rate.

Following approval to offer membership under the Green Deal, NAPIT have released dates for a new training course, the Green Deal Advisor course (GDA), available at training centres across the UK from September 2012.

This month NAPIT are in the final stages of developing two new courses, the Domestic Energy Assessors course (DEA) and the Green Deal Advisor course (GDA). These courses will be specifically designed to support the implementation of the Green Deal, the Governments eagerly anticipated flagship policy to tackle climate change.

NAPIT are now running a two dedicated Biomass training courses to address a growing demand from installers Biomass (H005) and Biomass Building Regulations (H005BR).

Charlotte Leslie MP has officially opened the NAPIT Bristol Training Centre – as part of their joint venture with Plumb Center and Sevenoaks Energy Academy. The training facility at St Andrews Trading Estate in Avonmouth, Bristol will offer a range of electrical and renewable technology courses.
