This course is for competent electricians who do not have a recognised qualification for BS7671: 2008 (2015) Incorporating Amendment No 3: 2015 and wish to update their knowledge to current standards.
 
3-Phase Distribution & Control (NA-3PH-2)

This course is for electricians who are competent working on single phase systems but feel daunted by the prospect of working on 3-phase installations encountered on commercial and industrial types of work.
 
a.c Motor Course (PT-AC-2)

This is a practical course which covers connection, testing and disconnection of motors with a variety of control gear. There will also be an element of three-phase calculations to enable the correct sizing of cable and protective devices to be selected.
 
Asbestos Awareness Course (NA-AA-1)

Asbestos awareness training is a legal requirement in the UK under the Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012). This training is therefore mandatory for anyone liable to be exposed to asbestos fibres at work. This includes a wide range of tradespeople. Around eight joiners, six electricians and four plumbers per week die from asbestos related diseases. This course aims to raise awareness. It is not appropriate for those looking to become asbestos removal professionals.
 
Beginners Burglar Alarm Course (PT-BBA-3)

Electrical Installation Condition Report Inspector Course- EICR/PIR (NA-EICR-2)

If you’re a skilled electrician with previous experience of fixed electrical installation, inspection and testing, and you want to expand your knowledge to incorporate Periodic Inspection and Testing, then this is the course for you. It is recommended in BS 7671:2008 (2015) that every electrical installation should be subject to periodic inspection and testing. This exam is designed for candidates who have already undertaken training or have relevant experience in this area. Candidates must have already taken the C&G 2394-01 practical unit of this qualification.

This is the course for you if you’re interested in, but have little or no prior knowledge or experience of, domestic electrical installations and wiring circuits. If you are looking to become a qualified domestic electrical installer, this is a good place to start.

If you are an Electrician with at least two years’ domestic and commercial installation experience and you would like to gain a formal qualification to demonstrate your skills and knowledge, this is the course for you.
 
Level 3 Award in Domestic, Commercial & Industrial Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation (2919-01)

This qualification is equivalent to the City & Guilds 2394/2395 and is accepted by approved bodies for registering.
 
Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations (C&G 2396) Written Theory Exam (6:30pm-9:30pm)
