If you’re a practicing electrician, familiar with the technical aspects of inspection and testing, and you require guidance when it comes to filling out NAPIT & IET certificates and reports, then this is the course for you.

This Course Covers (over 1 day)
This course will provide a thorough introduction to using NAPIT Desktop and will cover a range of issues that commonly arise when filling in a variety of forms, such as EICR’s. You will be guided through these forms, step by step, covering:
• Which certificate or report to use
• All sections of the certificate or report explained, (e.g. maximum demand and circuit details)
• An explanation of codes for observations when compiling an Electrical Inspection Condition Report
Online tuition for the notification process will be provided.
Course Structure
The course will explain why notification is required in each case, providing detailed explanations of the following forms:
• Minor Electrical Works certificate.
• Electrical Installation certificate.
• BS7671:2008(2011) Incorporating Amendment No 1: 2011
• Electrical Conditioning Installation Report
• NAPIT Desktop
• Microgeneration forms

Course Requirements
No prerequisites.
On Completion of the Course
Candidates will be conversant with all aspects of the various forms involved with electrical installations and receive a NAPIT certificate of attendance. On completion of this course, you should be able to complete certificates and reports efficiently, accurately and with confidence.
