Electrical Installation Condition Report Inspector Course- EICR/PIR (NA-EICR-2)

Course Reference: NA-EICR-2 NAPIT

Who is this Course For?

If you’re a skilled electrician with previous experience of fixed electrical installation, inspection and testing, and you want to expand your knowledge to incorporate Periodic Inspection and Testing, then this is the course for you.

Why Take this Course?

Periodic inspection and testing differs slightly from the initial verification of new installation work. This is because installations in this line of work tend to have been active for much longer periods of time, increasing risk factors such as wear and tear and deterioration.

It is recommended in BS 7671:2008 (2015) that every electrical installation should be subject to periodic inspection and testing. This course has been specifically designed to give you the knowledge to successfully address these additional risk factors, using the information gathered to compile Electrical Installation Condition Reports.

This Course Covers (over 2 days)

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the inspection, testing and reporting of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installations, as well as covering older installation practices and wiring systems.

Assigning the correct codes to recommendations for action - a major part of the delivery of an EICR - is a key feature of this course. Assessment for this course is theory based.
